Jashpurnagar, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Friday announced a series of key development projects for Jashpur district, highlighting the achievements of the state government over the past two years. Addressing a workers’ conference at Saliatoli in Kunkuri, the Chief Minister detailed massive investments in healthcare, road connectivity, and power infrastructure aimed at transforming the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Chief Minister outlined a major healthcare roadmap, which includes the establishment of a modern 220-bed hospital, a maternity and child hospital, and a state-of-the-art facility at Kalyan Ashram. To bolster the medical workforce, the district will also see the opening of a nursing college and a physiotherapy college, ensuring accessible healthcare for local tribal communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Infrastructure development remains a top priority, with the state government sanctioning \u20b9998 crore for 623 roads and \u20b9109 crore for 22 high-level bridges. Furthermore, allocations of \u20b912.69 crore for four major roads and \u20b913.69 crore for four key bridges have been cleared. In Farsabahar and Bagicha, projects worth \u20b940.89 crore and \u20b98.55 crore respectively have already been completed to enhance rural connectivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To promote education and tourism, the Chief Minister announced a new college in Kardega-Farsabahar and upgraded school buildings. He also mentioned that access roads are being developed to support tourism at the Mayali Nature Camp and the Jamboree event. The power sector will receive a boost with the state\u2019s fifth 400 KV sub-station in Harradand, Kunkuri, alongside 11 new sub-stations across the district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Addressing farmers’ welfare, Vishnu Deo Sai stated that the government is ensuring a procurement price of \u20b93,100 per quintal for paddy, supplemented by a bonus. He also confirmed the completion of 18 lakh houses under the PM Awas Yojana.
