At the session held at his residence office, the Chief Minister interacted directly with citizens, ensuring spot redressal of grievances and the distribution of assistive devices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the interaction, several Divyangjan received battery-operated tricycles and wheelchairs to enhance their mobility. Beneficiaries included Bharat Sahu from Arang and Jeevan Das Manikpuri from Raipur, who were provided with motorised tricycles. Hearing-impaired residents Sagar Nayak and Umesh Patel were also fitted with hearing aids after they highlighted their inability to afford the equipment due to financial constraints.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a major relief, the Chief Minister sanctioned \u20b95 lakh for the medical treatment of Basanti Saw, a resident of Mahasamund district suffering from paralysis. Her husband, Premkumar Sao, informed the Chief Minister that the family had already spent significant amounts on her care at AIIMS Raipur and other hospitals but required additional funds for ongoing treatment. The assistance was approved under the Chief Minister\u2019s Economic Assistance Scheme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The programme also addressed food security issues for the urban poor. Hanumant Rao, a 60-year-old labourer from Raipur\u2019s Tatyapara ward, reported that he was unable to access welfare schemes after his name was removed from his late parents&#8217; ration card. Chief Minister Sai instructed officials to immediately issue a new ration card to Rao to ensure his inclusion in the Public Distribution System (PDS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Chief Minister directed all concerned departments to ensure that applications received during Jan Darshan are resolved with sensitivity and within a fixed timeline.
