Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai directed the implementation of the decision following a proposal by Finance and Registration Minister OP Choudhary.<br>The benefit, which has come into effect following an official notification, applies to property registrations valued up to \u20b925 lakh. For properties exceeding this valuation, the standard stamp duty will be applicable on the balance amount as per existing state rules.<br>Officials stated that eligible individuals can avail of this concession only once. At present, stamp duty on property transactions in Chhattisgarh is approximately 5 per cent, and this rebate is expected to provide significant financial relief to the beneficiaries.<br>To claim the concession, applicants are required to submit valid documentation proving their status as serving personnel, ex-servicemen, or widows of armed forces members.
