Speaking to cultivators from various districts during the ‘Mukhya Mantri Kisan Samvad’ interaction program in Raipur, the Chief Minister stressed that innovation and technical intervention are driving a major structural transformation in rural livelihoods.

Drawing from his personal background as a farmer, Chief Minister Sai noted that advanced machinery and scientific methods have successfully decoupled agricultural yields from traditional rainfall dependence. He emphasized that the state’s initiatives work in close tandem with central welfare policies, observing that positive economic shifts are now clearly visible across rural communities.

During a special interaction with rural women operating under the “Drone Didi” scheme, the Chief Minister highlighted how unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are optimising input delivery across farmland. The precise spraying of nano urea and nano di-ammonium phosphate (DAP) through drones significantly cuts operating costs while minimizing physical labour. He added that widespread deployment of agricultural drones is serving as a major engine for direct self-employment among rural women.

Terming organic farming, natural cultivation, and nano-fertilisers as the inevitable future of Indian agriculture, Chief Minister Sai urged farmers to deliberately scale back their reliance on conventional chemical alternatives. He clarified that balancing fertilizer use protects soil microbiology while improving the long-term marketable value of the harvest.

Addressing local concerns regarding seasonal inputs, the Chief Minister dismissed rumors of product shortages ahead of the upcoming Kharif sowing season. He confirmed that the state administration has already positioned bumper buffer stocks of high-yield seeds and standard fertilizers across regional distribution hubs. Law enforcement and cooperative departments have also initiated strict district-level monitoring to crack down on unauthorized black marketing, artificial hoarding, or price manipulation by middlemen.

The state government is also laying down financial buffers to incentivize crop diversification, modern horticulture, and specialized agri-entrepreneurship among the rural youth. To support this ongoing structural shift, the state is rolling out fully funded skill-development training modules covering drone operations, organic certification standards, and complete farm mechanization.

Raipur, June 3: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Wednesday announced that the state government is systematically integrating modern technology, sustainable organic practices, and farmer-friendly policies to turn agriculture […]

[9,20

post-2670","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-chhattisgarh","category-display","has_thumb
["GET
