Raipur, June 22: <\/strong>Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai launched 333 development projects worth over \u20b9510.89 crore at the Pragatisheel Kisan Sammelan held at the State High School Ground in Rajnandgaon on Monday. Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister dedicated completed infrastructure projects and laid foundation stones for upcoming works aimed at bolstering rural governance and boosting farmer incomes across the district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Chief Minister announced that starting from the 2026 Kharif season, the state government will provide an enhanced input assistance of \u20b915,000 per acre under the Krishak Unnati Yojana to farmers who switch from traditional paddy cultivation to pulses, oilseeds, or alternative cash crops. The financial incentive is designed to aggressively accelerate crop diversification and maximize agricultural returns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the marquee infrastructure works sanctioned for the district are a new suspension bridge connecting the Mohara Mela site on the Shivnath river to the local Oxygen Zone, specialized conservation works at the Era anicut (check dam), the construction of the Kumarda-Gendatola-Kallubanjari link road, and the comprehensive modernization of the Ghumariya diversion system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To reinforce state-wide administrative accountability, Chief Minister Sai highlighted the rollout of the ‘CM Helpline 1076’, a centralized public grievance redressal platform mandated to resolve citizen complaints within strict, legally binding timelines. He added that the upgraded e-District governance portal now delivers more than 400 essential public services, including income, domicile, and caste certificates, directly to citizens online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chhattisgarh Assembly Speaker Dr Raman Singh, who also addressed the convention, lauded the grassroots impact of Padma Shri awardee Phoolbasan Bai Yadav. He noted that her extensive rural campaigns alongside local women self-help groups (SHGs) during peak summer months played a pivotal role in motivating regional farmers to adopt water-saving and modern cropping techniques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the event, the Rajnandgaon district administration signed a formal Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with agro-industrial firm ABIS Export to guarantee the direct commercial procurement of soybean produce from local cultivators. The digital and physical distribution of agricultural mini-kits was also initiated, alongside felicitations for progressive farmers, Krishi Sakhi Didis, village Sarpanches, and Rural Agricultural Extension Officers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
