The funds were disbursed via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) during a formal event held at the Chief Minister\u2019s residence office in Raipur. Women and Child Development Minister Lakshmi Rajwade was also present on the occasion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With this latest transfer, the state government has distributed a cumulative total of \u20b918,805.83 crore across 29 instalments since the launch of the flagship scheme. Chief Minister Sai extended his greetings to the beneficiaries, stating that the initiative has emerged as a symbol of self-reliance, dignity, and economic empowerment for women in Chhattisgarh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Chief Minister highlighted that the state initiative aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi&#8217;s nationwide vision for women empowerment. During his district tours, women frequently shared stories of positive life changes driven by the scheme, Sai noted. Many beneficiaries have utilised the financial support to start small businesses, engage in tailoring, or support their children&#8217;s education and healthcare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sai added that the state is simultaneously running targeted initiatives like the &#8216;Lakhpati Didi&#8217; scheme to further boost rural women&#8217;s income. He directed officials to expedite the e-KYC process to ensure no eligible beneficiary is left behind. The Chief Minister issued specific instructions to complete this verification process on priority in the Bastar division.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Launched on 1 March 2024, the Mahtari Vandan Yojana provides a monthly financial assistance of \u20b91,000 to eligible married women aged 21 years and above.
