The Nifty MidCap index ended 1.09 per cent lower, while the Nifty SmallCap index dropped 1.54 per cent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sectorally, realty stocks led the decline, with the Nifty Realty index falling 2.6 per cent.
