Raipur, Sep 03: Chhattisgarh health authorities have stepped up testing and treatment arrangements across the state after recording 152 swine flu (H1N1) cases and two Covid-19 cases. Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal said the situation remains under control and urged citizens not to panic while maintaining vigilance against infection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Out of the 152 swine flu patients detected across the state, 114 have recovered following treatment, while 38 active cases are undergoing medical care. Two Covid-19 cases have also been confirmed through routine surveillance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The state government has made adequate arrangements for diagnostic testing and isolation facilities at Dr B R Ambedkar Memorial Hospital (Mekahara) and various district hospitals. Jaiswal noted that prior Covid-19 vaccination coverage has provided substantial immunity to the general population against severe illness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Health authorities have urged residents to avoid self-medication and seek immediate medical evaluation at nearby government hospitals if they experience fever, cough, body ache, or respiratory distress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
