{"id":3897,"date":"2026-09-21T23:27:10","date_gmt":"2026-09-21T17:57:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsaxis.com\/?p=3897"},"modified":"2026-09-21T23:27:11","modified_gmt":"2026-09-21T17:57:11","slug":"make-seva-sankalp-abhiyan-a-mass-public-movement-cs-vikas-sheel-directs-collectors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsaxis.com\/?p=3897","title":{"rendered":"Make Seva Sankalp Abhiyan a mass public movement, CS Vikas Sheel directs collectors"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Raipur, Sep 21:  <\/strong>Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai&#8217;s vision to foster public participation and mutual aid is being driven across the state through the ongoing &#8216;Seva Sankalp Abhiyan&#8217;, Chief Secretary Vikas Sheel said on Monday while reviewing the month-long campaign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chairing a video conference with district collectors and divisional commissioners from Mahanadi Bhawan in Mantralaya, the Chief Secretary instructed officials to transform the initiative\u2014running from 17 September to 17 October 2026\u2014into a community-driven movement rather than a mere administrative event. He directed collectors to secure maximum involvement from voluntary organisations, non-governmental groups, and local social bodies. Under the guidance of district in-charge ministers, camps will be organised at the block and tehsil levels to ensure prompt resolution of public grievances, alongside updating beneficiary data for 26 flagship Central Government schemes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of the &#8216;Seva Mera Yogdan&#8217; initiative, special activities will take place across urban local bodies from 23 to 25 September, followed by a statewide drive from 2 to 8 October. The activities encompass service and sanitation drives, food and cloth donations, skill sharing, environmental conservation, health and blood donation camps, and local women empowerment projects. Active involvement of the National Cadet Corps (NCC), National Service Scheme (NSS), Self-Help Groups (SHGs), and &#8216;Mera Yuva Bharat&#8217; will be ensured, with all activities logged on the My Bharat portal. Additionally, families of deceased organ and body donors will be honoured at public functions to encourage organ donation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A major environmental push under the &#8216;Harit Chhattisgarh&#8217; drive will see the planting of 10,000 saplings of local species under the &#8216;Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam&#8217; campaign. During the &#8216;Seva Sankalp and Dan Utsav&#8217; phase (23-25 September in urban areas and 2-8 October statewide), welfare activities will target orphanages, old age homes, and underprivileged sections. Key drives include large-scale blood donation drives, free health check-up camps, distribution of dignity kits, and setting up &#8216;Book Trees&#8217; and educational support camps for underprivileged children. Outstanding contributors and social organisations will be felicitated at the conclusion of the festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Addressing administrative efficiency, Chief Secretary Sheel ordered the time-bound disposal of applications received at &#8216;Seva Setu&#8217; camps and directed officials to proactively review complaints on the Chief Minister Helpline and Public Service Guarantee portals. District collectors were told to maintain real-time monitoring via Google Sheets. Turning to rural and infrastructure priorities, he instructed officials to ensure strict accuracy in the ongoing crop <em>girdawari<\/em> (land survey), closely monitored by tehsildars and patwaris.
