Raipur, The stage is set for Prime Minister Narendra Modi\u2019s visit to Chhattisgarh on November 1, coinciding with the State\u2019s Silver Jubilee Foundation Day celebrations. As Chhattisgarh turns 25, the Prime Minister\u2019s visit will mark a historic occasion, inaugurating infrastructure projects and laying the foundation for new initiatives worth over Rs14,260 crore, reaffirming the Centre\u2019s commitment to the state\u2019s holistic development.
Excitement and anticipation fill the air in Raipur and Nava Raipur Atal Nagar, where preparations have reached their final stage. Roads and public spaces have been decorated with tricolour banners, LED arches, and floral arrangements to welcome the Prime Minister. Massive security and logistical arrangements have been put in place by the state administration, and rehearsal drills were carried out today by SPG, district police, and local agencies.
The Prime Minister\u2019s visit will begin around 10:00 AM with the \u2018Dil Ki Baat\u2019 programme at Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Hospital, where he will interact with 2,500 children treated for congenital heart diseases under the \u201cGift of Life\u201d initiative. At 10:45 AM, he will inaugurate \u201cShanti Shikhar\u201d, a modern centre for peace and meditation of the Brahma Kumaris.
At 11:45 AM, Prime Minister Modi will unveil the statue of Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee and inaugurate the new Chhattisgarh State Assembly Building at Nava Raipur. The green-certified structure, powered by solar energy and equipped with rainwater harvesting, will serve as a model of sustainable architecture. The Prime Minister is also expected to address the gathering on this historic occasion.
In the afternoon, at 1:30 PM, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Memorial and Tribal Freedom Fighters Museum. The state-of-the-art museum, dedicated to Chhattisgarh\u2019s tribal heroes, will preserve the stories of courage and sacrifice that shaped the region\u2019s identity. Modi will also launch the \u201cAadi Shourya\u201d e-book and the Museum Portal, and unveil a horse-mounted statue of Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh.
At 2:30 PM, the Prime Minister will attend the grand Chhattisgarh Rajat Mahotsav celebrations, where he will launch and lay foundation stones for development projects worth over Rs14,260 crore spanning roads, energy, healthcare, industry, and rural development, including a Four-lane Greenfield Highway from Pathalgaon\u2013Kunkuri to the Chhattisgarh\u2013Jharkhand border under Bharatmala Pariyojana worth Rs3,150 crore, upgradation of NH-130D and NH-130C, enhancing connectivity in Bastar and Narayanpur, Inter-Regional ER\u2013WR Power Interconnection Project to boost electricity transfer capacity by 1,600 MW, nine new power substations worth Rs480 crore to strengthen rural power supply, HPCL Petroleum Oil Depot in Raipur with a Rs 460 crore investment and 54,000 KL capacity, Nagpur\u2013Jharsuguda Natural Gas Pipeline (Rs1,950 crore) connecting 11 districts to the National Gas Grid, two Smart Industrial Areas and a Pharmaceutical Park at Nava Raipur to boost industrial growth and five new Government Medical Colleges and a Government Ayurveda College and Hospital in Bilaspur to expand healthcare and education.
To promote rural entrepreneurship, Modi will also inaugurate 12 Start-Up Village Entrepreneurship Programme (SVEP) blocks and release Rs 1,200 crore under PM Awas Yojana (Gramin), benefiting over 3 lakh rural families.
Across Chhattisgarh, a festive mood prevails as citizens gear up to celebrate both the State Foundation Day and the Prime Minister\u2019s visit. Cultural performances, traditional folk dances, and exhibitions highlighting 25 years of Chhattisgarh\u2019s journey will mark the Rajyotsav at Nava Raipur\u2019s Shilpgram grounds.

For the Prime Minister\u2019s security, the Special Protection Group (SPG) will coordinate with the Chhattisgarh State Police and Paramilitary personnel.
