CM Vishnu Deo Sai listens to PM Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’; urges focus on health and swadeshi

Raipur, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, along with several public representatives, listened to the 129th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ at his official residence on Sunday. Marking the final broadcast of 2025, the Prime Minister touched upon crucial themes including the promotion of indigenous products, health awareness, and India’s global achievements.
Speaking after the broadcast, Chief Minister Sai noted that the Prime Minister’s guidance on avoiding the “uncontrolled use of antibiotics” and adopting a healthy lifestyle under the ‘Fit India Movement’ is vital for the nation. He was joined at the screening by MP Santosh Pandey and MLAs Prabodh Minj and Purandar Mishra.
During the episode, Prime Minister Modi reviewed 2025 as a “glorious year” for India, citing milestones in national security, space research, and sports. He specifically lauded the performance of para-athletes and the creative spirit of youth seen in platforms like the ‘Smart India Hackathon.’
The Prime Minister also highlighted grassroots innovation, praising Moirangthem Seth from Manipur for his contributions to solar energy and the ‘PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana.’ Paying tribute to Odisha’s freedom fighter Parvati Giri, the PM urged citizens to imbibe values of social service.
Expressing concern over an ICMR report on antimicrobial resistance, the Prime Minister appealed to the public to never take antibiotics without a doctor’s prescription. He concluded by extending New Year wishes for 2026, a sentiment echoed by Chief Minister Sai, who described the programme as a “unifying force” that generates positive energy across the state.
