Raipur, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has called upon government officials to ensure that the benefits of state welfare schemes reach the last person in society with sensitivity and a spirit of service. Reviewing the implementation of various government programmes in Surajpur district on Saturday, the Chief Minister emphasised that officials must conduct field visits to resolve ground-level hurdles.
During the review meeting, CM Sai instructed the Surajpur Collector to draft development proposals for remote pockets like Chandni Biharpur to improve basic infrastructure. He also assessed the ongoing paddy procurement process, directing authorities to ensure that farmers are provided with all essential facilities at procurement centres and face no difficulties while selling their produce at Minimum Support Price (MSP).
The Chief Minister further reviewed the progress of the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana, stressing on its effective implementation to reduce the electricity burden on households. He issued strict instructions regarding the timely completion of high-quality road projects and directed health department officials to ensure all necessary arrangements and medical supplies are available in hospitals.
The meeting was attended by Surajpur Collector S. Jayavardhan, Senior Superintendent of Police Prashant Kumar Thakur, Zila Panchayat CEO Vijendra Patle, and other senior district officials. The Chief Minister reiterated that all field-level officers must remain stationed at their respective headquarters to ensure administrative accountability.
