Chhattisgarh CM inaugurates, lays foundation for projects worth ₹186 crore in Sarangarh-Bilaigarh
Sarangarh, (VW) Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has inaugurated and performed bhoomi pujan for development projects worth ₹186 crore in the Sarangarh-Bilaigarh district. The event, held at the Government Lochan Prasad Pandey College campus, saw the dedication of completed projects valued at ₹96 crore and the launch of new works worth ₹90 crore. The Chief Minister also announced additional projects totalling ₹13.40 crore for the district.
In his address, Chief Minister Sai stated that his administration’s top priority is the expansion of public facilities and fulfilling the guarantees made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He highlighted key achievements of his government over the last 18 months, including purchasing paddy from farmers at a rate of ₹3,100 per quintal, approving 18 lakh houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, and providing financial support to 70 lakh women through the Mahtari Vandan Yojana.
Revenue and District In-charge Minister Tankaram Verma, along with MP Radheshyam Rathiya and Jagdalpur MLA Kiran Singh Deo, praised the government’s focus on accelerating development in both rural and urban areas. The Chief Minister also announced several new projects for the district, including a ₹5 crore Gaurav Path, a new building for the PG College, and the renovation of the Sarangarh Indoor Stadium. The event was attended by various public representatives, officials, and local citizens.
