Raipur, Feb 19: Chhattisgarh’s pavilion at the AI Impact Summit in New Delhi has emerged as a premier attraction for global investors, featuring the country’s first-of-its-kind dedicated AI Data Centre Park. Centred on the theme ‘Chhattisgarh Driven by Intelligence’, the state is positioning itself as an emerging technology hub, highlighting its high-capacity digital infrastructure and investor-ready ecosystem.
The centrepiece of the exhibit is the AI Data Centre Park being established in Nava Raipur. With an estimated investment of ₹1,000 crore, the facility is designed to support up to 100,000 Graphics Processing Units (GPUs). This project is expected to provide the computational backbone for high-performance AI workloads, high-capacity data processing, and digital innovation, strengthening Chhattisgarh’s position in India’s future digital economy.
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai stated that the state’s participation at the summit has attracted strong attention from national and international stakeholders. He remarked that the AI Data Centre Park will provide fresh momentum to high-tech investment and digital innovation, serving as a decisive step toward empowering the state’s youth and building a foundation for long-term development.
The pavilion is also showcasing the Industrial Development Policy 2024–30, which offers aggressive incentives for the AI, robotics, and advanced technology sectors. State officials are providing detailed briefings to prospective investors on the state’s competitive advantages, including an uninterrupted power supply, the “plug-and-play” infrastructure of Nava Raipur as a smart city, and robust connectivity.
Representatives from several global tech giants and national institutions have expressed keen interest in the state’s forward-looking approach. Many have lauded the initiative as a significant step toward building a robust technology and innovation ecosystem in the region, noting that Chhattisgarh is steadily advancing as a leading contributor to New India’s digital revolution.
