Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrives in Raipur for DGP-IG Conference

Raipur, Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Raipur late on Friday evening to attend the Director General of Police-Inspector General (DGP-IG) conference being held at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in Nava Raipur.
Upon his arrival at Mana Airport, the Prime Minister was welcomed by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Governor Ramen Deka, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, Deputy Chief Ministers Arun Sao and Vijay Sharma, BJP State President Kiran Singh Dev, and other state ministers. Following the welcome ceremony, Prime Minister Modi proceeded directly to the Speaker’s House in Nava Raipur, where he is scheduled to rest for the night.
The Prime Minister will participate in the formal sessions of the high-profile DGP-IG conference, which begins Saturday. The conference, a key annual event for the nation’s top police brass, will feature 8 sessions over its duration. Two sessions are scheduled for the first day, four for the second day, and two for the third day.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is slated to attend six of these important sessions, providing his insights and guidance on critical internal security matters, policing, and law enforcement strategies. Union Home Minister Amit Shah will also be present throughout the program.
