Raipur, May 07: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Thursday paid tribute to the courage of Indian soldiers on the first anniversary of Operation Sindoor, stating that the mission symbolises the resolve of a “New India” to maintain zero tolerance against terrorism.
In a message shared on social media platform X, CM Sai recalled the terror attack in Pahalgam that occurred a year ago. He noted that India’s decisive response served as a testament to the nation’s bravery and determination, marking a significant chapter in its military history.
The Chief Minister said Operation Sindoor conveyed a strong global message that India would no longer remain silent in the face of threats. He emphasised that the country possesses both the capability and the will to respond firmly to any acts of aggression.
Highlighting the role of the armed forces, Sai said the operation reflected the unmatched strategic strength and unwavering dedication of Indian soldiers. He added that the precision with which threats were neutralised demonstrated India’s growing military capability and leadership.
The Chief Minister credited the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for reinforcing a policy of zero tolerance towards terrorism. He stated that this policy is now consistently backed by decisive action on the ground.
CM Sai also paid homage to the individuals who lost their lives in the Pahalgam attack, asserting that the patriotism and sacrifice of the armed forces would continue to inspire the citizens of the country.
