Chhattisgarh gears up for PM Modi’s visit, high-level meet reviews arrangements

Raipur, A high-level meeting was held on Tuesday at the Chhattisgarh Assembly premises to review preparations for the upcoming visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The meeting, chaired by Assembly Speaker Dr Raman Singh and Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, focused on ensuring a seamless and well-coordinated tour.
The Prime Minister is scheduled to attend the state’s Rajyotsav celebrations, which mark the silver jubilee of Chhattisgarh’s statehood. During his visit, he will inaugurate the new building of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly and dedicate the Chhattisgarh Tribal Museum to the nation.
Chief Minister Sai conducted a detailed review of all arrangements, directing officials to ensure high-level security, logistics, and protocol. He emphasised the importance of timely and systematic preparations for the landmark occasion, which will highlight the state’s 25-year journey.
Deputy Chief Ministers Arun Sao and Vijay Sharma, Forest and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kedar Kashyap, and Finance Minister O.P. Choudhary were among those who attended the meeting. Other attendees included Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, Director General of Police Arun Dev Gautam, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Subodh Kumar Singh, and several senior officials and MLAs.
