Raipur hosts National Supercross Bike Racing Championship

Raipur, The National Supercross Bike Racing Championship-2025, a spectacle of thrill, energy, and courage, was organised on Sunday at the Budhapara Outdoor Stadium in the capital city of Raipur. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai addressed the gathering, stating that the event is a celebration of sports, youth power, discipline, courage, and responsibility.
More than 100 professional riders from across the country participated in the championship, attracting thousands of spectators, elevating the event’s national appeal.
Chief Minister Sai noted that just as the acrobatic show during the Silver Jubilee celebrations ignited patriotic fervour in the sky, this Supercross Championship is giving new wings to the passion of the youth on the ground. The Chief Minister emphasised that this event is not just a race but a lesson in discipline, responsibility, and safety.
He urged the youth to remember that life is precious. “Always wear a helmet, follow traffic rules, and be a responsible citizen,” Chief Minister Sai stated.
The Chief Minister highlighted the state government’s solid efforts to promote sports infrastructure, sports tourism, and new fields like motor sports. He said the championship, organised by the Chhattisgarh Motor Sports Association, is giving the state a new identity at the national level and opening new avenues of opportunity for the youth.
Chief Minister Sai extended his best wishes to all participants, asking them to race safely and showcase their skills, and for the audience to enjoy the sport responsibly.
The event was attended by Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, Minister Guru Khushwant Saheb, Lok Sabha MP Brijmohan Agrawal, MLA Anuj Sharma, President of the Chhattisgarh Motor Sports Association Ujjwal Deepak, other public representatives, and a large number of spectators.
