Raipur, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai in the public grievance redressal programme ‘Jandarshan’, met citizens and provided immediate resolutions at his official residence on Thursday..

The programme saw immediate relief for para-athlete Pintu Ram Sahu from Abhanpur, Raipur, who had sought financial aid to purchase a sports wheelchair and training equipment. The Chief Minister immediately sanctioned and handed over a cheque of ₹90,000 to support Sahu’s sporting journey. The young athlete, who recently competed in a rugby event in Gwalior, expressed gratitude and pledged to bring glory to the state.

In another touching moment, the Chief Minister met 11-year-old Poonam from Telibandha, Raipur, a gifted child living with cerebral palsy who paints with her feet. Deeply moved, Chief Minister Sai assured her mother that the government would fully support the child’s education and future. He immediately directed officials to ensure Poonam’s admission to a special school and approved a scholarship for her studies, reaffirming the government’s commitment to inclusivity.

The ‘Jandarshan’ programme also featured a unique display of artistry when 55-year-old Ankush Dewangan from Bhilai presented the Chief Minister with what is believed to be the world’s smallest statue of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Crafted on marble, the half-centimetre-tall figure, visible only through a microscopic lens, was accompanied by a miniature of the Ramlala Temple in Ayodhya. Chief Minister Sai admired Dewangan’s remarkable artistry and proposed organizing a state-level exhibition of his miniature works.

In a humane act, Chief Minister Sai handed over a hearing aid to Raman Nirmalkar, a resident of Brahminpara Ward, Raipur, who could not afford treatment. Overwhelmed with gratitude, Nirmalkar said, “I can hear again. I am thankful to the Chief Minister for understanding my pain and helping me so quickly.”

Through such compassionate interventions, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has turned ‘Jandarshan’ into a reliable platform where the government meets citizens with empathy and prompt action.
