Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai visits Chhattisgarh pavilion at International Trade Fair

Raipur, The Chhattisgarh Pavilion emerged as a major attraction at the International Trade Fair held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai visited the pavilion and inspected various stalls showcasing the state’s rich craftsmanship, traditional arts, and forest-produce-based innovations.
The Chief Minister praised the products displayed and said that Chhattisgarh is steadily strengthening its presence on global trade platforms. He said that the rising demand for Chhattisgarhi products among national and international buyers is boosting the local economy while bringing well-deserved recognition to artisans. He added that these efforts are significant steps toward fulfilling the vision of a “Atmanirbhar Chhattisgarh.”
Sai expressed appreciation for the exhibits featuring Kosa silk, metal crafts, Dhokra art, natural forest-based products, millet-based food items, and innovative micro-enterprise models. He also commended the presentation of Bastar’s cultural heritage and artifacts at the pavilion.
While watching the documentary “Badalta Bastar (Aamcho Bastar)” screened on digital TV at the pavilion, the Chief Minister noted that it effectively portrays the transformation taking place in Bastar. He said Bastar is changing rapidly, and the documentary offers a vivid glimpse of this progress. He reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to strengthening schemes and institutional support to promote tribal and rural products in national and international markets.
Industry Minister Lakhan Lal Dewangan, Lok Sabha MP Brijmohan Agrawal, Kamlesh Jangde, and other public representatives and officials were present during the visit.
