Raipur, (VW) Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai attended the 128th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s monthly radio programme, ‘Mann Ki Baat’, at the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium in Raipur, describing the broadcast as “deeply inspiring.” The Chief Minister said the programme has become a celebration of the nation’s collective consciousness, through which the Prime Minister addresses key issues and delivers motivational messages monthly.

Sai said that ‘Mann Ki Baat’ highlights innovations, public participation, and commendable efforts across the country, thereby honouring those engaged in nation-building. He noted the Prime Minister’s praise for the record rise in food grain production, advanced honey processing practices, increased honey output, naval empowerment, the Naval Museum, and the importance of nature farming was highly motivating. He added that the public presentation of the Gita for the first time in Saudi Arabia, along with Gita Mahotsav celebrations in Latvia and other nations, reflects India’s growing cultural influence.

Speaking specifically about Chhattisgarh, Chief Minister Sai noted the state has immense potential for nature farming and that local farmers and young entrepreneurs can make significant progress in this direction. He affirmed that Chhattisgarh has made a meaningful contribution to the country’s increased food grain production.

The Chief Minister highlighted various other topics covered by Modi, including drone testing in Mars-like terrain by Gen-Z youth, the journey from the unsuccessful Chandrayaan-2 mission to the successful Chandrayaan-3, the performance of women athletes, the Gita Mahotsav in Kurukshetra, the Mahabharata-themed 3D Light and Sound Museum, indigenous warship INS Mahe, the Bhutan visit, the upcoming fourth Kashi Tamil Sangamam in Varanasi, and nationwide innovations under Vocal for Local.

Assembly Speaker Raman Singh said Prime Minister Modi is among the world’s most popular leaders and uses ‘Mann Ki Baat’ to share important cultural, social, and national developments. He added that the programme teaches how to make local initiatives global.

The Prime Minister also mentioned the Constitution Day programme held in the Central Hall on November 26, the nationwide events marking 150 years of Vande Mataram, the hoisting of the Dharmadhwaja at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on November 25, and the inauguration of the Panchjanya memorial at Jyotisar in Kurukshetra the same day.

He described the inauguration of the world’s largest Leap Engine MRO facility in Hyderabad as a major step in India’s aerospace capabilities. He also highlighted India’s record food grain production of 357 million tonnes, an increase of 100 million tonnes in ten years. Modi also mentioned India’s achievements in sports, including the announcement that India will host the Commonwealth Games.

The event in Raipur was attended by Cabinet Ministers Kedar Kashyap, Laxmi Rajwade, Khuswant Saheb, and MLAs Kiran Singh Deo (Jagdalpur), Rajesh Munat (Raipur West), Motilal Sahu (Raipur Rural), and Anuj Sharma, along with other dignitaries.
