Raipur, The Chhattisgarh Department of General Administration announced the reshuffling of 14 senior IAS officers with immediate effect, issuing fresh postings, transfers, and additional charges across key departments of the state government.
Renu Ji Pillai (IAS, 1991), Additional Chief Secretary of the Science and Technology Department, has been temporarily posted as Chairperson of Vyapam, while retaining the additional charge of Chairman, Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education.
Subrat Sahoo (IAS, 1992), who was the Additional Chief Secretary of Religious Trust and Endowments Department, has been posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Cooperative Department. He has also been assigned the additional charge as Chairman, Revenue Board, Bilaspur, a position that became vacant following the retirement of Topeshwar Verma (IAS, 2005).

Sonmoni Borah (IAS, 1997) will continue as Principal Secretary for the Tribal Development, Scheduled Caste Development, Backward Classes, and Minority Development Departments, while retaining the additional charge of Principal Secretary, Science and Technology Department.
Other transfers and additional charges:
• Dr Rohit Yadav (IAS, 2002), Secretary, Energy Department, has been posted as Dr Rohit Yadav, while retaining his existing charges as Chairman of CSPGCL and CSPDCL. Upon this posting, P. Dayanand (IAS, 2006), Secretary to the Chief Minister, will be relieved of the additional charge of Secretary, Public Relations Department.
• Avinash Champawat (IAS, 2003), Secretary, General Administration Department, has been assigned the additional charge of Secretary, Religious Trusts and Endowments Department.
• Mukesh Kumar Bansal (IAS, 2005), Secretary, Finance Department, has been given the additional charge of Secretary, Aviation Department. Basavaraju S. (IAS, 2006), will be relieved of this charge.
• Ankit Anand (IAS, 2006), Secretary, Housing and Environment Department, has been assigned the additional charge of Secretary, Electronics and Information Technology Department, and Chairman, Chhattisgarh Environment Conservation Board. Niharika Barik (IAS, 1997), will be relieved of her additional charge of Electronics and Information Technology Department.
• Bhuvnesh Yadav (IAS, 2006), Secretary, Social Welfare Department, is assigned the additional charge of Secretary, Planning, Economics and Statistics Department, and Secretary, Twenty Point Programme Implementation Department.
• Kuldeep Sharma (IAS, 2014), Registrar, Cooperative Societies, is now also assigned the additional charge as Managing Director, Chhattisgarh State Warehousing Corporation.
• Ravi Mittal (IAS, 2016), Joint Secretary, Chief Minister’s Secretariat, has been given the additional charge of Director, Aviation.
• Dr Fariha Alam (IAS, 2016), Joint Secretary, School Education Department, has been temporarily posted as Director, Food, while retaining the additional charge of Joint Secretary, School Education Department.
